“There are parts of Obamacare, or the Affordable Care Act, that were postponed because they are unpalatable,” he told Boston Herald Radio. The Cadillac tax that goes into effect in a few years, he said, will be “the first time in this country’s history that we have actually taxed health care.”
Yeah, the first time in America we have a tax on a tax.
There's more.

I'm not sure if I'm suppose to or at the implications.

Through more legislation on its own train wreck?

So... you like the tax on "cadillac" health care plans?
Or are you just trying to end debate with a snarky quip, just like Zach described in his other thread?

Wait until the employer mandate is fully on line....
Better yet, wait another 10 years when the standard of care has reversed course 30 years in what is considered to be acceptable health care.

Well, as long as people keep voting, that is sure to work out well for them. I mean, government is pretty small now after 200+ years of voting.

Most of those that would be old enough to remember the old system will be dead...

Check this anecdotal story out.
I went to the dermatologist last week to have a procedure done and the doctor informed me before she would do the procedure that it would cost $850 out of pocket and $2,700 if she had to file with my health insurance. I thought for a second and I recalled that the last time I had this procedure done I paid $1,150 because my insurance only covered 50%. (The last time I had the procedure was 3 years ago. Prices must have increased because 50% of $2,700 is $1,350.)
Anyway I elected to pay the $850 out of pocket and subsequently file with my insurance and then pay the rest from my flexible health savings account.
The point is, how insurance and government regulations have distorted the price point between doctor and patient.

But they had to pass it to see what was in it !!!
The whole lot of them should have lost their jobs right there.

Check this anecdotal story out.
I took the old lady to an emergency room a few months back. The first bill was for $3300 for a 30 minute visit. The next bill showed a total of $3300 with a negative $3200 "adjustment" and the insurance company paid nothing. Bottom line: I owe them ~$100. WTF?

Mmm huh...and with Graham Negative on the prowl it won't be just old age that thins out the weak in a failing HC system.
No worry...Obama has our back.
