At least 79 tax service providers, including offices of the major companies Liberty Tax Service and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, are listed as certified Obamacare enrollment entities in the state of California, according to state exchange records. California’s Obamacare exchange Covered California pays enrollment entities for signing people up for Obamacare.

“Certified Enrollment Entities are paid a flat-fee of $58 per successful application and $25 per successful annual renewal,” according to California Health Benefit Advisers. ”The Enrollment Entities compensate the individual Enrollment Counselors.”

So, not only do we have this bullshite rammed down our throat, we also have to pay to get folks signed up for it. Didn't realize we needed to give folks the hard sell for something that is supposedly so great. I would love to hear the sales pitch.

And this is a bad thing why?

Why wouldn't you want the most people possible signed up for insurance?

Sorry but I think this is a GOOD thing.

People are being told to enroll to a program that is good and right for them.

I do not see the bad here.

I think you too have left out an important word in yalls statements...

quote:

People are being FORCED to enroll to a program that is good and right for them, despite their actual needs.

Those are more accurate statements and pertinent questions.

How can they get paid when their employees are not licensed insurance agents?

It's bad because you have people enrolling individuals in to insurance programs with out any type of knowledge about the programs. Their tax knowledge is dubious at best.

How do they know this? How does someone at Liberty Tax know what plan is best for them?

Because the idiots who depend on other people to enroll them do not understand what they are signing up for. Who is accountable if the information that determines the amount of subsidy is incorrect? What are the repercussions for entering false information to increase any subsidies?

Because the "insurance" isn't based on actual underwriting principles. It is based on wealth redistribution principles.

The government stooge is a remarkably compliant animal. It's good and right of course because it's provided by the benevolent state...at the point of a gun though because well...

That's the entire mantra of most liberals. You don't need to understand, just know that the gov't is providing it and it's amazing.

You and I as taxpayers...when that false and erroneous information leads to additional expenses.
