The Doc stunk up the place at Jazzfest. I didnt see the FQ fest show and I would be interested to know how it was?

I was at last year's JF show, and the FQF spot a few weeks ago. The band has improved immensely in the past year. While, I still prefer his old backing group, the Lower 911, these guys were extremely enjoyable. From what I understand, the one still weak link in the band (the young, female trombonist, who is also, allegedly, his girlfriend) was curiously absent at the BR Blues Fest spot, and that show should have been greatly improved without her.
