I just turned it on and recognized the voice. Pels fans are lucky - I think he is very good.

depends on how many Pels playoff games FSNO would pick up since he and Wesley would HAVE to be there to do the FSNO broadcast
I'd think it'd be cool if Joel got called to do a Pels playoff game for TNT (that of course isn't on FSNO)
FWIW... Meyers has done a lot of national broadcasts... a true professional
he even called the last Summer Olympics for NBC (I remember flipping through the Olympics broadcast and heard him doing the call for gymnastics)

on the topic of local TV getting playoff games... is it just me or did CST do less than other local stations?

CST did the games that weren't nationally broadcast. I don't remember them simulcasting or anything.

I know they did those... but I seem to remember seeing highlights from other nationally broadcast games but the highlights were from local broadcasts... I would just love the option to hear Joel & David call games over the TNT or ESPN guys

Actually he is really pleasant to listen to, and I don't think c Webb is doing awful. I hope we don't lose Joel, I enjoy his broadcasts a lot.

I honestly only remember one Hornets playoff game on CST and that was Game 1 against Dallas. And I actually watched the national broadcast of that.
