The Walter Hill thread got me to thinking. As a kid I spent so many Sat nights listening with my dad to John Ferguson and Walter Hill do the broadcasts. Just so many fond memories. Then Pat Screen was added to the team as a sideline reporter. But it seemed like Pat only did it for a short span (1 year?) and then Doug Moreau replaced him. Wondering when Doug started.

I know it was after 1984, because I was the spotter for Doug Moreau and John Ferguson during the 1984 season on TigerVision (or whatever it was called way back then).

From the Advocate.

After current analyst Doug Moreau, an All-America tight end for the Tigers, took over for Hill in the late ’70s, Hill retained his duties at WBRZ as a weekend sports anchor and occasional weatherman until he retired in 1986.
