With Fournette and the possible additions Brossette and Guice plus Williams, how excited are you for our 50/60/70 runs a game between the guards and off tackle?

sarcasm I sense with this one

I'm not being sarcastic. I hate air shows. I'd rather watch a pound and ground best them into submission offense than a high flying air raid Mike Leach like offense any day. Nothing got me more excited than watching teams fail to tackle JH33.

It's the les miles kind of way. And it works way way more than it doesn't. And it's our strength this year. So why not

Give the ball to Fournette 25 times a game and let's see what happens

I look forward to us switching to the fun & gun.

I hate the direction college football is headed myself. It's turning into a 7 on 7 game. I liked the line up and the best man wins days. Fullbacks and tight ends! Spread offenses were created by smaller schools with smaller players to give them a chance and now "big boy" schools are using the girlie football offenses. One thing I can say about Miles and Saban, they at least try to play the game the way it was meant to be played and not this Playstation Generation football we are seeing now.
But that's just me.
But that's just me.

Also, the Spurrier era Gators laugh at your statement about girlie football.

So why hasn't the NFL "evolved" again? I mean I'd much rather watch a fullback blow up a linebacker and the runningback pick up 5 yards versus the qb in the shotgun with 7 wr's and throw it sideways for a 5 yard game anyday. Again that's just me and what I like to see.

Personally, I'm giddy about Magee getting more carries more than anything. Dude produces... and is very fun to watch run.

A lot more passing, in recent years in the NFL, so not sure what you mean.

#CaintWait, but I see it as more 60-40

The NFL has evolved. Notice how tailbacks don't go in the first round anymore? It's a passing league now.

With the Seahawks creating the blueprint to stop these pass happy basketball offenses, I don't see it being a QB driven pass happy league in the next 5 years. Way too many turn over opportunities. 3 and out puts defense on the field too quickly, and only so many teams can field a QB that can legit air it out 30 plus times a game.

[Not to use a cliche] But, it's a copycat league. This draft you will season two things: First, every team in need of a QB will be looking for that R.Wilson "dime in rough". Second, cornerbacks who are tall and lengthy will be taken over prototypical cornerbacks because of the Seahawks defensive philosophy.

Yeah I hated last season's offense. Can't wait to get back to the Jordan Jefferson pass 10 times a game offense.

with out looking up stats I remember the jj era at least throwing the ball 18-25 times a game ....it was poor execution that resulted in 120 yds passing and 0.7 pass tds a game ....
if we average 65 offensive plays, I would be happy with 25 pass attempts a game.....

It's bittersweet. LSU always stops it and it's funny that bama can't stop it. It just proves that speed > power.

ten passes a game during the JJ era? Gotta love when the tinfoil hat LSU fans come out and post.
