Baton Rouge drivers...

What's the obsession with changing lanes at every red light, as if being 6' closer to that red light is going to magically make you teleport to your destination quicker? Is it that much of an annoyance to be the 5th car in the lane waiting at the light when if you changed lanes you could be the 4th? Just watched a mid/late 30's female change lanes at FIVE consecutive red lights - and she wound up behind me when I turned off Bluebonnet.
Happens pretty frequently around here, and I just don't get it.

Usually it doesn't but occasionally it does if it gets you ahead of a slow mouthbreather. Worth it IMO.

Woks for me just about every time - especially If you have a slow arse in front of you.

Even more baffling to me is when I pull up to a light and there are 7 cars in one lane and 1 car in the other.

That 1 car is usually the slow one and the other 7 have figured it out.
