The Obama administration is extending its comment period on the Keystone XL pipeline, citing continuing litigation over a Nebraska court decision that threw part of the project's route in doubt, two sources said today after a call between the State Department and congressional staff. If this postpones the decision until after the November election, it would spare President Barack Obama a politically wrenching decision on whether to approve the pipeline, angering his green base and environmentally minded campaign donors - or reject it, endangering pro-pipeline Democrats such as Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu. But it will also inspire renewed complaints from Republicans that Obama is politicizing and dragging out an energy project that has already waited more than five years for approval.

I would comment, but I don't feel like an audit or a droning.

Part of me hopes this just goes to the west coast of Canada and over to China just to prove how stupid this opposition was. But a part of me also knows that major refiners throughout the gulf coasts are conducting billions of dollars in upgrades in preparation for this oil coming to the market and it would lead to layoffs.

This is exactly what he is doing. Doesn't want to upset the environmental zealots and at the same time too afraid to go on record as wanting to block the pipeline.

Hard to please tree-huggers and union pipeline outfits ... at the same time.

Poor Barry ... they want him to have a spine and balls.

Racist sumbitches.
