Small spots on TV screen...

Need some advice...
Over at my parents house and their 60" Samsung has small white dots on the screen...when the screen is dark it looks like stars in the sky...
Any ideas as to what caused this? Is it a lamp issue?

It is the mirror. You can call Samsung and have them replace it. I had it on my 55 - they came out to the house and replaced it for me.

The DLP is defective. Call Samsung. It's a free replacement. They've replaced 2 of mine about years ago (the Tv's were 5 years old at the time). But, isn't about time for a new TV anyway?
