I work away from home and very night, I will FaceTime with my wife so I can see and talk to my little boy. The other night, the FaceTime call would not connect. Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, how was the issue resolved.

she had another man with her so she blocked the camera and just "said" that it wouldn't work.

My wife has had the same problem face timing her parents the last few nights. They usually FaceTime 3 or 4 times a week to see the kids but the last two nights it hasn't worked. Rebooted the phones and the router and nothing.

Probably bad wifi signal. I used in on a train going 100 mph between Baltimore and Philly recently to see my little ones. Only had a few " feezes"

This happened to me yesterday. But I found out when I got home that my little boy was watching a movie on netflix so he rejected my call.

I thought it might have something to do with being over the allotted data usage allowed, but we're in a new billing cycle, so that's not it. We didn't have wifi issues or anything...it simply would not connect.

Very strange. Because it appears that others have had similar issues in the last few days, I'm gonna chalk this one up as something AT&T screwed up.

Thanks y'all.

One thing that I have found that helps is to be on wifi when you do it. I have found that if you try using Cellular service, it takes forever to connect, and it's never a live streaming feed, it's often still pictures instead of video. With wifi, it works like a champ. Now on the other hand, I have used skype video, cellular and wifi, and both work good.
