Try this one on for some serious stupidity in use

Portland Oregon will drain a reservoir because one teenager took a leek in it. Get a grip on the dilution ratio(that you can try to estimate) of a few ounces of urine to a quantity of water this huge. NUTS in the extreme.

I thought I heard he shat in it. I also heard the water is safe to drink, but they decided to drain just to give people peace of mind.

It really wouldn't take long to lay a temporary pipeline to NoCals farmers and ranchers. I read yesterday about fruit and veggie prices and the expected increase in them by item because of the drought and the absolute failure of allocations of the water by the feds and state. Add to that todays little item about meat prices(all of them) hitting record setting highs at the moment.

US Army survival manual says you can drink it straight from the tap if need be.
It only becomes toxic after sitting for a while when bacteria starts to form.

I remember reading how some Indians (from India, not Injuns) traditionally drink their own urine. Supposed to be healthy.
