First take is only watchable for the NBA playoffs but it is quality stuff this time of year b/c thats the one topic they both know very well

Fair enough. I just hate everything about what ESPN has become and First Take is a perfect microcosm of it.

agreed, i was hoping foxsports1 would push ESPN to do better but this has failed to happen in my eyes. The old First Take format was better with 10 topics and Jay Crawford hosting. the black chick doesnt do it for me and a little Stephen A goes a verry long way

haven't seen the lineup but i know last year they showed a ton of big12 foosball and the quality of play in that league aint exactly where it has been

Its the only competition ESPN has at the moment. I was hoping NBCSN would get something together. But, we'll have to wait until the Notre Dame contract runs out for that to happen.
