good write up on espnfc near the bottom

LINK

I think Bale is def the better buy and it will keep showing every year. He seems like a better teammate and not to act like a cancer. The BBC trio has meshed really well out there. While Messi and Neymar just don't seem to be working yet. Neymar played good when Messi was out but seemed to not want to give back control of the team when Messi came back. Sometimes watching Barca play it seems Messi is just not interested out there.

Which is mostly on the manager's style which does not feed messi the ball and it seems like his lack of chemistry with Neymar.

Totally off topic
But in a recent game Messi only ran/moved 1 mile further than the GK

Bale's like three years older than Neymar

How does he act like a cancer? Because he doesn't look like the cancer right now

From the media here, the perception is he isn't meshing well with the team and is selfish.

But yes the manager needs to go. Barca could have a free fall. Its bad when the president and the director of football operations don't agree on the manager.

Neymar: over-hyped, over played, under-physiqued, over expensive. Bale: Cristiano's double. Tall, powerful, great in the air, a powerful shot, a fabulous free kick and prolific in the goalscoring department.

first time i read this i thought it said

Cristiano's double, tall, powerful, great hair

He has played well at times, poorly at others, but he doesn't deserve to be a scapegoat, even if he looks stupid and acts like Dani Alves. Barcelona lost their identity halfway through the season and everyone is suffering. If Neymar equalizes yesterday, that article doesn't get written.

Probably not

but the Sky La Liga coverage has been talking about this a while.

Pinto is a magnificent human being. I wish someone would do a documentary on him.

Great player

The Antonio Adan of his generation

ETA: I see that he is apparently good at other things

He had to be good at something, I guess

Bale's sprint was impressive but at the same time one had to wonder, as did darke and macca, if Real would have had 2 or 3 by then if #7 had been involved on all those breakaways.

Yeah, but it's not really fair to hold him to that standard

It wasn't, but Barcelona fans have been spoiled by Valdes's play this season, so I don't feel bad. I wouldn't have felt bad anyway, but I certainly don't now.
