Does anyone know who had the shortest MLB career to be inducted into baseball HOF as a player?

I feel like Koufax had a relatively short career, maybe a decade or so. But not sure if thats the shortest.

I guess I didn't account for negro league ball. Mostly wondering their entire baseball career. In all leagues combined.

Well to be fair... The baseball HOF is a JOKE............ Doesn't matter about ERAS now....... Koufax is a NO brainer no matter when he played.. He was dominant.........

She would have played longer if it wasn't for the daddy issues and that one wayward load that caused sight loss in her right eye.

I agree. I wasn't trying to diminish his career bc it was short. Just he came to mind. Big fan of Koufax and Brooklyn Dodgers. In fact I have Koufax rookie card hanging on my wall.

According to Yahoo it was Addie Jones at 8 years and 77 days.
Jackie Robinson comes in 4th.

List

But what's up with yahoo not spelling out "negro" in negro leagues? I've never noticed this before.
