Both Miles and Mason are strong, blue collar workman centers that don't really need the ball to make an impact. I'm not saying either is super athletic or the "missing piece" but I think that kinda Center who can give you 20-25 effective mins a game on the low block would be awesome next to AD or even with Ryan/Smith underneath. Keep Ajinca and Withey on the bench too.

Mason (Nets, blonde hair) averaged about 7pt-4rebs-1blk-2ast for the season with 19.10 PER (4 double-doubles); these numbers are skewed too low as he was behind Brook Lopez for a good portion of the early going and was a rookie. He's come along in extended minutes lately, up to 12/6/1/2 in April. Only makes 1.36 million next season and that guy Brook Lopez ($15 mil next season) could make him expendable if he were to stay healthy, considering they have Blatche and 1 more year of KG.

Miles (Suns, dark hair) averaged 8pts-8rebs-1blk-0.5ast for the season with 14.6 PER in 25 mins/game and 11 double-doubles. He's only a year older than Mason at 25 and probably a tough pry from PHX unless the Suns wanna go all in on lotto pick Alex Len (possible) or draft someone with the 3 first round picks they have. He only makes 1.17 million next season (wonder who's got the better agent?), so like his brother he'd be easy to accommodate salary wise.

I'm not saying it will or should happen and I don't necessarily know if either is available or if Pels have the right pieces to steal one away, but like the topic says I wouldn't hate it and I think they could bring something to our one man front court. Them or somebody likewise would be ideal. Just saying..

I wouldn't mind seeing one of them added.

Miles Plumlee had the block of the year, IMO. No, not Mason on Lebron.

Oh, and Mason isn't going anywhere so don't hold your breath.
