Specifically in BR, Gtown, or Hammond areas?

Since I'm not a regular on the MT, I don't want to tick any of the locals off if this thread isn't appropriate for here. But I figured this was the best board for the question. Thanks!

Earlier I was leaning towards F150 but then they came out with the new model and I don't want to buy a brand new truck that will be the old model in 6 months. It seems that Louisiana folks have a love affair with F150's though so I'm sure I'll get a lot of shite.

You should seek out a Toyota dealer instead. I will say that Dodge makes the best looking truck, but that is it. Good luck though.

It is actually funny how wrong you are. It is 1a and 1b for the V8 trucks between Ram and Ford. And Ram kicks everyones arse with the Cummins Diesel. But keep being simple minded if it makes life easier for you

You will get alot of shite because people are stupid. Do some research and pick the truck that is best for you. Between the Ram and Ford, you will be getting a great truck with a great reliable engine. I would say in my opinion Chevy is lagging behind these days though.

Dodge - the perfect brand for someone who doesn't do any research on their vehicle before purchasing

And you show and shine your arse at the same time. If you did research, 1. You would know they did a complete overhaul in 2009 and they are no longer even Dodges anymore, they are simply RAMS. 2. With that overhaul, anyone that has done any research knows the trucks they are putting out these days are as good as any. I have never understood why some truck mouth breathers are so brand blinded. It makes one look as simple minded as a rock

Dodge

Solid choice for trucks. Their new diesels look promising.

OP....there are a few helpful thread on here highlighting tactics for purchasing a vehicle. You should take a look at them if you have time.
