Les has been head coach for the entirety of the two longest home winning streaks in LSU history: 22 (2009-13) and 19 (2005-07).

We're currently at 9 straight, which is 7th on the all time list. The current streak should hit at least 15, depending on what happens against Ole Miss. I will continue to assume we beat Miss. State until they beat us (although they are my sleeper pick for this year). 15 would tie for 4th on the all-time list.

Overall, Les is 57-7 in Tiger Stadium, or almost 90%, with three of the 7 losses coming in overtime. LSU's overall record in Tiger Stadium, including Les' record, is 73%.

1-2

What other current coach in the SEC West/SEC/country has beaten Alabama under Saban at home more than once?

Since you seem like one of those who wants to define LSU by Alabama.

I don't think so, he's 1-2 in Tiger Stadium against St. Nick. He beat Bama there in 2006 so overall he's 2-2 against Bama in TS. He's also 2-1 against St. Urban there, so 3-3 overall against the two in TS. Not bad considering that Nick and Urban combined for 5 national titles from 2006-12.

ETA: One more note on playing Saban in TS. During the three regular seasons that Les coached against Nick in TS, 2008, 2010 and 2012, Saban went a combined 32-4. And as you recall, we lost in OT in 2008 and on a miracle finish in 2012. So, not too bad against them I would say.

In retrospect, it is an awesome win ratio.

Of course we've lost some of the big ones, but overall, Les runs a good ship.

Do yourself a favor. Search a poster named "Speedy" and find his compilation of all facts LSU- LES related. Very complete, very informative, and very well done.

I've seen Speedy's running tab and it's awesome. I was pointing this out in particular because of the Alleva letter today. I was messing around the lsusports site and found the list of the longest home winning streaks and happened to notice that the top 2 were all Les. I just think that's awesome when you consider he's been here for less than 10% of the total number of seasons LSU has played.

And yes to the guy RE Miss St. Not only 14 in a row but I think we're up to 20 out of 21 with the sole loss coming in the 3-8 1999 season and even that was a close game.

I didn't major in math or history, but this doesn't seem to add up?
