Going to Tucson Az for a wedding and the GF and I going to Scottsdale afterwards to hang out.
We are considering hitting up Sedona for a day.
Google does not seem to return anything thats reliable to me...
Do yall have any suggestions for us? Must do's??? open to hiking/mountain biking/rafting etc.
but nothing that will take up the whole day.

Sedona is an awesome place.
The devils bridge is a quick hike ~ 2-3 hours
There are tons of restaurants that have great food.
I like the barking Frog
There is a brewery there that is kind of cool Oak Creek Brewery.
It is located in Tlaquepaque ... this sort of courtyard that has a bunch of artsy galleries..your wife will love it.
There are pink jeep tours that you can do..all kinds of stuff. you will not have enough time.

Great for hiking! Depending on when you go the weather shouldn't be much of an issue.
The wife and I went on a day hike a few of years ago and climbed the red rocks.
It's a hippie town so brace for that.

The chapel is badass for a quick visit...

another good one is the west fork of oak creek. the parking lot is tiny though.
the chapel of the holy cross is very pretty and worth checking out (it's a church built into the rocks).
and if you have time make the drive from sedona to flagstaff on 89 (not 17). 89 is a very pretty stretch of road between sedona and flagstaff.
and be prepared for lots of places selling new age crystals and talking about "vortexes".

Just go up there and you will find stuff to do. Sedona is TINY and you can't go wrong whatever you do. Personally I would take a hike, visit the church on the rock, eat lunch and shop but you really can't go wrong.

It's my favorite place ever and only 1.5 hours away from my house!

Just don't talk to any locals. Their not your regular ole tree hugging hippies.
These hippies are straight out of an X Files episode.
Cool, BEAUTIFUL town though. Of all the romantic stuff we did, my wife and I enjoyed the buggy rental we did the most.
I couldn't picture her doing 45 mph down a highway on her own 4 wheeler so we rented a two person dune buggy for like 6 hours (but they had shorter rentals). They give you maps with recommended tours and stuff and it was a great way to alot.
Some of the hikes are real long. If you're going to do 1 hike, and don't want it to be too long, the airport hike provides some unreal views as I think it is the highest point in Sedona.

LSU480
we are staying at the Marriott Camelback Inn.
I understand you are a golf pro in the area.
Could you help me with anything in Scottsdale? discounted round of golf perhaps?

Go hiking and find a rattlesnake. Catch it and bring it to a local to cook for you. No seriously if you go to a restaurant and they have snake on the menu, you have got to try it. It's awesome. We took a pink jeep tour and ended at some mountain top restaurant that had lots of exotic meats. I cant remember the name as it was a long time ago.
