was listening to the radio and jason aldean came on and got to thinking about how different (worse) he sounded on the award show vs his studio recording.

who else comes to mind when you think about ppl sounding so different between the two youd swear it wasnt the same person?

It was Bob Dylan when I saw him, but he was already old and busted by that time so it could have just been the age factor.

Further proof, not that any was needed, that Jason Aldean and Bro-Country is the biggest farce in music history. Radio Country listeners should be ashamed of themselves

On the opposite side of studio to live performance, Geddy Lee (and the rest of Rush) sounds nearly spot-on from the records.

Saw Hayes Carl a few years ago and his voice was awful live.

Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull sounds horrible-he can't come close to hitting the high notes anymore. Saw them do Thick as a Brick 1 & 2 and he had to have a guest singer to sing half the concert for him. The concert was damn good though.

I'd be embarrassed to admit I knew what Brittney sounded like live, much less recorded...

James Hetfield after 2000. He can't do shite with any of their old tunes but it's most definitely because of the drugs and alcohol and age.
