15 SEC games left & SEC tourney: What needs to be done to get top 8 seed??

if you continue to win weekend series', you should get a top 8 seed.

Finish 1st or 2nd in the SEC. We really need some quality wins on our resume right now (currently just 1-6 against the top 25 RPI). 10-5 minimum finish to the SEC schedule.

I think a top 8 will be hard for us
But if we win every series from here on out (at least 2 sweeps) and win the tournament we should have a shot

As a guide, this is from Boyd's World RPI Needs Report. It's what it would take for us to finish the season in the top 8 of the RPI. This assumes that all teams maintain their current winning percentage which obviously will not happen but it's still a rough guide. And I know that the national seeds aren't simply the top of the RPI.

I think if LSU can win the West and make it to the SEC Championship game, win or lose, they will get a Top 8 seed.
