Recruiting gurus: what is the consensus on Shea versus the rest of the 2016 QB recruits such as Belton, Franks, Veal, Wallace? After this weekend with winning the MVP for the bootleggers where is he ranking in terms of top choices for Cam and the "experts"? Although he is currently committed to Arizona (which he has family there coaching), a close relative stated to me this evening "pretty sure he is choosing them (LSU)". Obviously a long time for this to play out and whomever, if any, top QB we will land in 2015 might change things around.

I watched him gain as many on the ground in the real State championship game in his class last year vs CHNI.
Pass first guy, but an excellent runner. Better than Flynn ever thought about being once the ball is tucked.
Wouldn't run the triple or read option with him, but he would be a legitimate threat sprinkling it into the gameplan.

For the Win. Patterson is good, so is veal and wallace. then the dilfer kid, cam's doing work!

i know what for the win is, i was asking why Brandon Harris apparently keeps us from recruiting QBs 2 years later.

LSU has had a tendency towards QBs from larger high shchool programs.
2011 Zac Mettenberger Univ. Georgia Transfer
2012 Jeremy Liggins, Lafayette HS 5A
2013 Anthony Jennings, Marietta High School 6A
2014 Brandon Harris, Parkway 5A 2014
If that current trend holds true, Patterson (2A Calvary Baptist), (2) Veal (1A Southern Lab), and Wallace (2A Riverside Academy) might not be heavily pursued by LSU. Its one position that you might take a look at the level of competition the QB faces. 2016 QB Belton (5A West Monroe) and Scott (5A Zachary) are also on the radar.
