Is it really a noticeable upgrade for a 55 inch size led tv? Evidently I'm finding out now I may need to replace current tv.

if you're watching sports, yes, it's a big difference

Lol no. Considering most tv feeds cant even keep up with a 240 hz rate.

If anyone wants to throw out 55 inch led TVs I should check out, I'm all ears. Would like to not spend more than 1500-1700 at very most. Anything less would be cool too

I have only been able to tell the difference when the two are side by side and I am looking for the difference....I wouldn't pay the difference...

I got a Samsung 55 smart TV with 3D during football season for about $1,300, so you should be able to get a hell of a TV for what you are looking to spend...

If you have the space, you may want to step up into a 60" or something like that.....

Best buy website is where I would look....

Samsung has a 70" LED tv with basically no perks for $999 (if you can find the sales). To me, smart TV apps are worthless. I stream Netflix/Amazon/hulu through my PS4 or Wii U and get on demand movies through DirecTV. I got rid of my Vizio smart TV for this one, best decision I ever made.

The human eye being able to detect the difference between 60 Hz and 120 Hz is debatable. 240? Not unless you're fricking superman. Get the frick out of here with that shite.

That's a nice TV, and Samsung is a good brand and maker of TV's. But you could save a shitload of money by getting basically the same TV, without it being smart technology and the 3D, which to me aren't nearly worse the extra you have to pay.

If you're not looking for a top notch TV just get a vizier. They're good for their price. We have like 5 flat screens all different brands from Samsung to vizeo. I have a 60" vizeo in my room and it's quality is as good as the rest. Idk about the longevity but after 3 years it's still great. At the price I don't mind buying another one every 5 years...

Went to best buy today. That Samsung pic was 5 times better than the Visio which would have only saved me less than 300. I ordered the Samsung above on eBay for 1379
