Is it true that Reid is behind this? That is Rory Reid is a lobbyist for a Chinese solar company who would like to use this land for a solar project and the BLM is using the endangered species act to justify moving the cattlemen out. As soon as the cattlemen are forced out the desert tortoise will all of a sudden become a non-endangered species.

Somebody needs to explain to me how the hell you can be a cattle rancher in that Nevada scrub country. And why is it worth shooting someone for someone else to use it? Whole thing seems pretty dumb to me on both sides. Interesting that both Reid and the rancher are Mormons. Shouldn't they be out looking for the golden tablets?
