I would like to get one and get some albums in vinyl. My old roommate had one and it was awesome listening to the sound of the vinyl records, which still hold some of the best sound quality IMO. I want to get one of my own but I don't know which ones are legit. As far as price range, i have no idea how expensive they are, so I'll just see what is out there and make a decision then, but do any of y'all have input? Thanks

Dammit I realized this sounds very hipster

I have the basic Audio Technica AT-LP60. About as good as you can get on a budget. Its about $100 and has a built in pre-amp so if you don't have a receiver, you can just play it through computer speakers or whatever. I have mine hooked up through a receiver so I didn't need the preamp. Just make sure you have some descent speakers to play your vinyl through, otherwise the "best sound quality" you spoke of will be pretty pointless.

This is the one I own and love. It will run you about $200 but is amazing for that price point. The reviews on it are all pretty killer.
