The one positive thing the Obama Administration has given me at 40.

I'm conservative and always have been.
I've also always loved Rage Against the Machine.
It was awkward as a Conservative all these years to love Rage.
Thanks to Obama, all Americans can love Rage regardless of their politics with no awkwardness.

The irony is that Rage had no idea that in 2014 their amazing songs would apply to a black President.

My liberal friends are not even remotely uncomfortable supporting 'The Man' and to this day think anyone arguing against setting dogs on people for protesting and not complying with "free Speech Zones' is nothing like setting dogs on people in civil rights marches not complying with government telling them they can't march.
I just give them a picture of the German Shepherds getting set on people in Birmingham then link them to the same thing happening in Nevada to the protesters over that rancher situation and the denial is so thick they STILL don't get it.
Liberals are impossibly stupid. They lack the ability to step outside their emotional response and see things unbiased.
Nothing more inflexibly ignorant than a full blown liberal that thinks he's not one.

Wow, my husband just said "Or a half-baked conservative who thinks that he is."
I don't know any progs that don't know they're that way. The conservative movement is so disliked it's not funny. Personal responsibility is not a consideration at all.
