I checked that song out and cannot believe the controversy it caused at the time. P ussy politicians and FA.
Glad that One Politician came out in favor of it, and spoke the truth. The British got the frick bombed out of them nightly, they deserve any shite talking ww2 song they want to chant.
And it's not like it's demeaning, it's sort of a rally call song.

I'll be drinking Augustiner at some biergarten in Munich for the USA/Germany match.
Hoping they cruise past Ghana and Portugal and rest the Bayern lineup against us...maybe we get lucky and pick up a draw, but I'll refrain from any 1945 jokes...truth be told, the German kids these days are tired of apologizing for stuff their grandparents did. I've never seen a more bored group than the teenage group we saw at Dachau. The shame has just been slammed down their throats so much that it backfired and they're desensitized now.

The 10 German Bombers song was actually a children's song during the war . When we play Mexico in a southwestern state we should do that "This land is our land" song.
Edit. It's actually your land and sounds a bit lame but with the right lyrics it would be great.
