Any one here have any experience with these guys? I had my loan that I had with Chase bought by these guys. Here is my situation. Been in the brand new home for 6 years now. The loan changed hands 3 months ago. I have received a escrow overage check almost every year since the beginning that I would mail back to Chase. Now there is a shortgage in my escrow account and my note is going up $44 a month. Both property taxes and homeowners insurance went up. Property $1 a month and insurance $17 a month. Not to mention they posted a $2000 payment designated for principal incorrectly. Their website is incorrect when looking at payment history(a March 25th payment still doesn't show as of today). Also it's like talking to help desk in India when trying to comminucate to a person. Me and the wife have the plan on paying a 30 mortgage in 15 years but am thinking hard about a re-fi now.

Sounds like Chase was doing it wrong if you got a refund almost every year.

We've been in our house for 6 years, and I seem to remember a fairly sizable jump in our Homeowners insurance after year 5.

Never heard of them, but loan servicing lately is going more and more to a few very large, no-name, bare bones servicers, who use tremendous amounts of cheap overseas labor.

So I'm not surprised to hear you have problems.

A re-fi is only good if you are sure it won't end right back up in their hands. If service is important to you, there are some good local banks out there that keep all the loans and their servicing needs in house.
