Edna Karr (La.) defensive end Isaiah Washington committed to LSU back in February but has since kept the door open to being recruited. In fact, the 3-star pass rusher recently took an unofficial visit to Florida and has more trips on the horizon.

Yea it is

I can't stand it when kids commit and keep shopping

Either don't commit and keep options open, or commit and start recruiting for LSU

I feel like if a kid commits I don't believe it unless it's bama. Honestly they are the only team that doesn't lose commits like everybody else. Yes they have lost a kid here or there but not that many

An argument could be made for this year as well.

You must be new to recruiting, you should follow it a bit more

This is the norm these days, fellas. Sucks that recruiting has become so dramatic, but thank social media and all these services constantly blowing these kids up.

I'm pretty sure we can get an out of state commit who is better and actually wants to be a Tiger. No stress.

I love that a&m swagger quote.....nothing says swagger like a team that let Duke hang up 24 in a half.

Opportunities can come from anywhere so if you can show me why your schools provides the best opportunity for me I’ll listen. At the end of the day, I’m going to pick the college that’s best for me.”

I have no issue with this at all. He absolutely should look out for his best interest.

However, when he says this...

quote:

“I’ve picked up so many offers. It’s hectic right now. I mean, I’m LSU at heart, but on signing day is when I’m going to make that decision.

That means he's not committed. That means that LSU needs to keep looking, and if they can find a kid who is equal or better and actually willing to commit, they need to act.

So he wasn't getting recruited until we offered him, and now that teams are paying attention, he's using that commitment to see if there are better opportunities for him. Classy.

A&M is an up-and-coming program or back on the rise,” he said. “I like their swagger. They play with a swagger that nobody else has.

So that's what swagger looks like on defense. I thought it reminded me of the 2001 Miami Hurricanes.

LSU is the frontrunner right now, that’s why I’m committed, that’s like my big brother, I love it up there, so it’s going to take a lot for a college to pull me away.

The bottom line.

He wants to be wined and dined.
