Just turned on Fox a minute ago and that is exactly what they are reporting about now. In England when gun legislation was pushed through the uptick in knife incidents was the first thing to occur.

And if you take knives away, you will see shanks, and so on...

Need to change your subject... Yours and the other thread have horrible titles.

Is this a pro gun control thread?

20 injured. I'm not seeing fatalities. A gun would likely have had a different/more deadly result.

This is a new one to me. So is this real or some year end play put on by the seniors?

Thank god he used a knife and not a gun.

Wouldn't have happened if it were a knife free zone.

In an attempt at a quick laugh they just made a pro gun control thread.

In all seriousness, it's a bad situation and my prayers are with those affected.

Nah, just a commentary on the fact that people are the problem, not the weapons.

Murder and mass slayings were around long before any gun was made.

But again, let's keep making laws to combat a problem with individuals who ignore laws to begin with. You're only hurting the good citizens.

Yes they were, but it was a hell of a lot harder to do before guns.

I agree with you. I'm not for gun control.

So you think we'd still have 30,000 murders a year if guns were illegal?

Depends on who is in charge of the government...it could be a helluva lot more than that if the government is the one doing the killing...like we have seen over and over again throughout history.

Remember, the government will always have guns - that should give any reasonable man pause when contemplating disarming the masses.

Edit: On average, there are over 10,000 alcohol related traffic deaths per year. I don't see any restrictions on purchasing vehicles for people with that drink alcohol (such as myself ).

I figured as much, just making a quick comment because it's slow at work

A gun certainly would have yielded more damage.

I'm just curious as to how this kid wasn't dealt with after about the 3rd or 4th kid he stabbed.

Maybe it's just my fight or flight instinct, but I can't imagine myself running away while my friends got shanked.
