Just finished reading Cape Fear - A movie what if

Great book.
Anyway, was reading up on the movie and apparently Speilberg was supposed to direct the remake and had plans to cast Bill Murray as Max Cady.
How fricking crazy would that have been and do you think he could have pulled it off?

Of course. Bill Murray can play serious roles, and I think him playing a crazy dude would come off even more insane because of who was playing it.
