Mincy Hall takes the web by storm
LSU Gymnastics will be only 2 states away in Birmingham in 2 weeks and will bring the Lloimincia Hall show with them. We're talking about a girl who's floor routine recieved an ovation in Tuscaloosa, Auburn and Gainesville for it's tradition breakin, high energy dance.
I will be in the BJCC and aside from watching my Tide battle for the title, am very much looking forward to seeing Florida and their all-stars and LSU's swag in person.
The BJCC will be filled with Crimson and White, but LSU just scored the highest regional score of any team in the country last weekend.
Don't know how strong the Tiger away crowd will be, but I hope it's a good showing.

My grandfather has volunteered to tabulate the Lady Tigers' scores for 37 years. I am going to be in Austin the first half of spring break but I'm trying to rally the family together to go and watch them in person. This year or next is "do or die" for Breaux to win it all.

People Magazine & SI also posted about her routine today.
I will be in Birmingham rooting for these Tigers! Fingers crossed that they will bring home their first National Championship back to LSU. I can't wait!

no problem. I don't think it's do or die for Breaux.
D-D has basically spent 30+ years getting the program to this point. While, yeah, that's multiple eternities in SEC coaching, she's finally put the last piece in place with assistant coach Jay Clark.
LSU is now flipping recruits from Michigan, Bama and... Georgia. I think this is the beginning of something big, not a fleeting peak.
But yall ain't winning anything in our house.

I honestly was blown away the first time I saw it. She did something similar in 2012 at LSU against Bama. One of my good friends, who is also my boss daughter, was on the Bama Gym team from 2011-2013. After seeing that I told my boss it was incredible. He said it was a disgrace to the sport, that it was so different, and not what the sport needed... He was infuriated when everyone in the PMAC stood up and cheered after Llomencias routine. I told him he it was exciting, especially to someone who has never been to a gym meet before, and that things like that would bring more fans my age to gym meets. We did not see eye to eye.

I'm sure that DD is well aware that the fix will be on in Birmingham.
It's tough to beat the tumbling Gumpettes and the judges too.
We did it once this year already, we can do it again.

Hubby and I will be there, too... Cannot wait! Hall has won the floor title at SECs all three years she's competed for LSU, including last month at BJCC...hopefully she will make floor finals and contend for the NCAA floor title too...
She's also steady on beam and awesome on vault...great athlete, great person...
