ANyone with LSUFirst health insurance and an HRA -

this is just a heads up -

if you haven't already figured it out, medical providers will often take money out of your HRA after you've already paid cash at the time of service - i.e. double billing. Sometimes they won't charge you at the time of service, then charge your HRA, and then send you a bill to try to get you to pay again. (Jefferson IMaging actually threatened a collection agency, even after I received confirmation from the insurance company the bill was already paid.)

This has happened under multiple providers, before and after ObamaCare, and under both Cigna and now Aetna. The only constant is LSUFirst.

Basically you'll need to do the job of the provider's billing department for them - or they will rip you off.
