Rank the lightsaber battles

1. Luke vs Vader 1 (empire) - Although Luke wasn't a great duelist yet, he thought that he was fighting the man who killed his father and old Ben, and his rage showed. Vader toys with him through most of the battle but IMO the emotion and significance of the end of the battle makes this #1.

2. Luke vs Vader 2 (return) - this is a real close second for me. Luke goes apeshit after vader tells him that leia might turn and nearly turns himself but resists and tells the emperor that he's failed. *chills*

3. Vader vs kenobi 1(revenge) - I think you need to watch the clone wars to have this battle ranked as high because the series goes way more in depth than the movies at showing the relationship between Anakin and obi wan and how close they actually were. I think this battle is the most aesthetically pleasing one in all the 6 movies.

4. Vader vs kenobi 2 (new hope) - kids will argue that this is the worst battle in all the movies but alas, the message that kenobi sends to vader and Luke with this fight sends shock waves through the rest of the original trilogy.

5. Jinn and kenobi vs maul (phantom) - another really awesome looking lightsaber fight in what was an otherwise forgettable movie. Would have been better in my opinion if Maul would have not been killed.

Worst fight: any one in which Yoda yields a lightsaber - ONE of the flaws of the prequel trilogy is that Yoda fights with a lightsaber. He shouldn't need to.
