With the major glitches in Online Association Mode for NBA 2K14 I am considering making the switch to NBA Live. Me and my buddy couldn't get through the playoffs and now the offseason has glitches as well.

Does anyone have any reviews on NBA Live Online dynasty? Has anyone else made the switch?

Live is shitty. 2k made Live it's bitch a couple years ago. And if you mean ps3 oe its a typo, Live is only for next gen.

Good to know, thanks

2k14 has amazing game play, it just sucks that the online association is broken. The game locked up in the playoffs and wouldn't allow us to play games, it threw up errors while trying to draft players and entirely skipped free agency and the next season in under 1 min. Game has major bugs!

2K is awful, NBA 2K has so much potential but it's constantly plagued by awful glitches/bugs across the board. 2K is worse than EA.

Just the truth, 2K Sports has always been awful, hence why they lost every franchise but NBA.

NBA 2K has excellent gameplay, but their servers are fricking awful, and there are endless amounts of glitches/bugs in just about every game mode.

I think it's the same amount problems you see with other sports title, but the gameplay it pretty much perfect, so people overlook that sometimes.

Idk about that, EA Sports servers are always strong. Maybe some hiccups the first few weeks after release. Same with bugs/glitches being patched rather quick as well.

NBA 2K14 has been ruined by bugs/glitches and bad servers since launch.

Me and my friends used to team up and play The Park all the time, until a glitch ruined that. Do the roll the ball inbounds in the far corner of the court so it goes immediately out of bounds, no one goes to get the ball, have to quit.

Still isn't fixed.

Submitted a ticket to 2K, 3 months later they replied and asked me for a video. Yeah, frick off 2K.

To your other post, I rarely run into glitches as well. Me and my friends play quick match or blacktop all the time and the only glitches we had to worry about was it freezing or getting disconnected.

Your association, never heard of anything like that. Maybe he had the league advance on fast? Not sure but that's definitely messed up.

I haven't played Live in a minute but 2K still kicks their asses. The commentary and graphics are very good, as well as the gameplay, just if they can get rid of the online and myplayer bugs.

I have my own offline association and that seems to work fine.

Online mode is a train wreck though. After the season ended, you have to wait 2 full days to do the NBA draft. Commish tools and everything is greyed out so you can't change that. Then when you finally get to the draft, you have all the issues I listed above.

Depends on the game, FIFA/NHL are flawless on all counts for EA Sports. Madden is pretty good too.

NBA Live is really the only EA Sports franchise that blows gameplay wise and it's in its first year back, wouldn't surprise me to see it take back over as the main NBA game in a few years like every other EA Sports game.

Madden fricking sucks. They had to purchase exclusive rights to keep 2K from beating their dicks in. NFL 2K5 is still better than any Madden in many instances. Obviously, graphics are behind but just about everything else is better in NFL 2K5 than Madden.

I can't speak for FIFA, but NHL is far from flawless. The countless number of glitch goals in the game, the horrible online GMC mode where you don't even get to pick who you draft. The CPU drafts for you. The enforcer engine is pure garbage. You've got 5'11 centers with a ton of speed able to skate up to a 6'4 defender and demolish them with a body check which is pure garbage.

I'm not an advocate for 2K or EA, but EA is not some golden child. They've been criticized for years for their lack of innovation in their sports games.

FIFA and NHL are pretty flawless and that's why they pretty well alternate as Sports Game of the Year every year.

Madden is doing as well as ever last I checked, don't play football games myself.

2K does a shitty job with NBA outside of gameplay, which you'd think would be the easiest to fix when your gameplay is relatively solid. Aside from the travesty that is the Park. Especially when it's your only sports game now that they've lost their NHL and MLB franchises because they sucked so bad.

Madden is doing well simply because people want their NFL fix and so they run out and buy Madden. Madden is not doing as well as you may think. If there was another NFL game out, Madden would lose sales simply for the fact that people want something different.
