One of the earliest stoner roles.

Love that movie; one of my all-time favorites. I first saw it when I was 11 or 12 years old. While channel-surfing one day, I came across it just as Jonathan Winters was beginning to demolish the gas station.

The wife got me the BluRay last Christmas...which reminds me: I haven't even checked out all the extras on the other discs...

I would watch that every year at my grand parents house in the 70's. They played it all the time.

Some of my favorite scenes:
Winters peeking around the corner on the highway and seeing everyone standing there waiting for him

Berle and Thomas turning Ethel Merman upside down to get the keys.

Winters running through the big W and doing a double take before turning around.

Dick Shawn asking Momma 'Who are THEY? Who is HE? Momma this is like a convention.'

Phil Silvers taking directions from the little boy and promptly sinks in the stream.

Durante literally kicking the bucket.

Rooney and Hackett flying the plane and Hackett telling Rooney 'You want me to do everything, who are you, the HOSTESS?'

Silvers stealing Don Knotts car.

How many separate scenes are there with him driving 110mph, bawling and screaming, "Momma! Hold on, Momma! Your baby's comin' to rescue you!!"

Looks like I'm going to have to stop work early and watch the damn movie...

Tyler Fitzgerald: "What could possibly go wrong with an Old Fashioned?"

My Dad took me to see this movie at the old Robert E. Lee here in BR when I was about six. It's one if his all-time favorite movies, and his favorite scene is when Winters destroys the gas station with his bare hands.
