What a band. What an album. Nearly 20 years later and if released tomorrow would be relevant.

Nice

I saw them at groovin on the grounds last week, and they didn't play any Pinkerton tracks. They were still a lot of fun, but considering Pinkerton is my favorite album of theirs, I was a tad disappointed.

blue album was 20 years ago, pinkerton was 18
both outstanding albums start to finish... then rivers took the negative reviews of pinkerton badly.

Awesome. Was that their whole set? Pinkerton straight through? I'm jealous.

Nope. Play hits from newest to oldest, one new track that I really liked (back to the shack) intermission with video from Pinkerton tour, all the negative reviews, etc...

Weezer came back out, Tired of Sex to Butterfly straight through, in order. Was killer

Live version of new track

It really is crazy how Pinkerton got such bad reviews back then. I never even listened to it until about 2007, and it still wasn't my favorite then. I like it just as much as the blue album now.

Honestly, if I would have listened to Pinkerton back in '96, I probably would not have liked it then but that was because I was in middle school and hadn't found my identity or taste in music.
