We got as close to cord cutting as we could a while back and have only one DTV receiver with a bare bones package plus HBO. Box went out today.

Our best TV is one that only has an AppleTV plugged into it and I was gonna use the DTV DVR as a back up in case HBOGO shite the bed like it did in the True Detective finale.

Has anyone seen anything regarding HBO addressing what happened with True Detective because if it happens again I will not be able to watch GOT tonight.

Even HBO and Cinemax being free this weekend doesn't help you with your setup?

I'd go to a friend's house. Just bring some bread and salt and maybe a few lemon cakes and you should be good.

That's what I was thinking. Unless they have added servers since the bad press they got after the TD finale, the GOT premier is gonna be a tire fire.
