Anyone ever done this before? And if so how did it work out?

The XBONE power supply is not dual voltage so im in kind of a spot here. If it was it just get a 230v cord at the store and be good to go like for my tv and ps4/ps3/pc and laptop. I tried to order one from MS but they want a broken supply mailed back to them. So Im basically stuck either buying a UK aftermarket one or running a transformer which sky rockets my electric bill. If seen a couple on amazon with mixed reviews, thats why I have come to the all knowing gaming board for advice.

I bought one for my 360 when mS wouldn't replace it and wanted like 120 for it. 360 still runs fine to this day
