She is representative of what the democrat party seeks as a voter. Female, she is a minority and she is poorly educated and easily led astray by erroneous bullshite...she just so happens to be running for office in Jackson.

I'd bet everything I own she has never cast a ballot for a GOP or Independent Candidate in her life.

I know. I was trying to point out how much worse it is that she is actually running for office.

And you don't want a part of the "trillion dollar hemp industry?"

Funny story...true story. I have a friend that was a board member on the MS Food Policy Council. They are an organization that attempts to promote healthy eating, farmers markets and generally good lifestyles.

The board is filled with leftists...most of which are very well intentioned (if not closet racists that cannot see past their own noses).

Well, long story short, they have tried to promote community gardens in SW Jackson (the lowest income, highest crime area of the city).

The concept has gone over like a lead balloon, yet the leftist on the board just don't get it. They would never be a proponent of limiting or restricting entitlements, such as food stamps, based on caloric content, but wonder why these people don't want to put the work in to a garden that will give them free, healthy food. They are then shocked when people destroy these gardens for fun.

The trillion dollar industry made me laugh out loud. If you could get the populace to actually work to grow a product (big IF), the chances of preserving, protecting and selling would be astronomically low.

Jackson is prime example of what giving a man a meal does to a society, as opposed to teaching him how to acquire a meal and expecting him to sink or swim thereafter.

One could argue that the City Of Jackson is one of the worst cities over 100K to live in America from a city governance, schools, crime and future prospects standpoint. On the flipside, one could argue that Madison and Rankin Counties (the burbs of Jackson) is one of the best places in American to live relative to governance, low crime, schools, employment opportunities and future outlook.

Statistically, Jackson is over 70% black. The surrounding burbs are over 70% white.

Civics and race question...

Is it because of racism that Jackson is suffering or because of the culture that permeates race?

Not going there.

All I know is I go there probably 3-4 times a year and it has really changed over the last 15 years or so.
