* LSU Admin. meeting this morning to discuss possibilities about moving games, etc.

* Saturday doubleheader would be very difficult because of tv arrangements (ESPNU) for Saturday 6:30 game and LSU staff having to work spring game, gymnastics, etc.

* Sunday doubleheader of two seven inning games would be a possibility. Games on Sunday cannot start after 4:00 PM

Unless it's changed in the past 24 hours, the best chance for for bad weather is predicted for Sunday. Good luck playing a DH on Sunday, if necessary.

From a weather standpoint, Saturday DH is really the only way to work this out IMHO. But that seems like a sticky situation to resolve with all the other stuff going on on campus that day and TV

Piss bombs. That's all I'll say.

But really, gymnastics was drawing as many or more fans than basketball on many occasions. Plus it's an NCAA event so I'm sure there's a mandated number of ushers they need, or something along those lines.

And "eff TV" is an unlikely scenario

Based on what the weather people THINK is going to happen...anything after 3pm Saturday looks very iffy. If it weren't for the spring game/gymnastics/softball all going on, the LOGICAL thing would be to play a baseball (and a softball game, for that matter, since they are in the same boat) at noon Saturday since Saturday a.m. looks like the best window all weekend to play.

It will be an interesting decision that LSU will have to make. I think the priority MUST be to get the "real" games in (i.e. softball and baseball) instead of worrying about a meaningless football scrimmage.

It may be meaningless to you, but there are PLENTY of people (not me) that care way more about a football scrimmage than any baseball game. You have to take that (and their $$$) into account.
