Deputies nab Lafayette man for allegedly flashing teens walking to bus stop.

Following a 10-day investigation, LPSO booked Scott Hawthorne, 28, into the parish jail, charging him with 6 counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. Investigators arrested Hawthorne Wednesday at his Common Pointe Dr. home, where deputies allege that Hawthorne "stood nude in the doorway of his home stimulating himself " while children passed his home. Deputies say they learned, as a result of the investigation, that Hawthorne had been identified as having "a history of doing this since November of 2013 to these victims and other females."
Deputies said that Hawthorne allegedly would call out to his victims, all teenage girls ages 13 to 15, to get their attention. The teens reported the alleged incident to school officials, who in turn alerted law enforcement.
Hawthorne remains in jail in lieu of a $150,000.00 bond.
