I haven't read it but I liked his Halloween books. Think the 1st was ghost road blues?

It's a fun, easy read. There's a whole series that comes after it.

Should I start with Countdown or Patient Zero?

That link will tell you everything about every book, but Countdown was kind of a promo............it was just an excerpt from Patient Zero.

Some of the novellas and audiobooks in that series tell a different story though, so I'd try to read them in order. I've only read up through Dog Days so far.

I have read it and met him a few times. One of the nicest authors in the business and he was nice enough to read and provide a blurb for me for a book of mine.

Like I said, the man really gives back to new authors and is a huge influence on me.
