I know I'm late to the party but I just never got around to watching it until last night. I thought it was ok except for the 30+ year summation that took 30 seconds to explain. It was a long arse movie and they only spent the last 10 minutes on the relationship between Bane and the girl.
It felt like the end of a Psych episode when she says "My dad didn't like Bane's face so he excommunicated him."
It was too nice and tidy. Was this a common complaint when the movie came out?

Yes. Bane went from a badass villain to a beta sidekick. Marion Cotillard mailing it in didn't help either.
Her death scene

I thought it was awesome. It's Ike of those movies that you appreciate more if you see it a second or third time.

Sounds like you watched the HIMYM finale.

Get rid of "SPOILERS" in your headline. The movie came out in 2012.
If people haven't seen the movie yet and don't want to know about it, they shouldn't open this thread.

Movie was OK. Dark Knight was a tough act to follow. As I've said before the movie didn't happen. He died at the end of TDK when he fell from the building with Dent. The whole movie takes place on his fall as his life flashes before his eyes. He hits the ground and dies is when the bright light and the bomb goes off and the last scene is him in heaven.

I thought it was terrible. Useless plot twists, demasculinization of the big enemy, the retarded cops and thugs running at each other in the street scene. I could continue, but these threads are played out.
The movie was poorly put together and poorly executed.

I agree.
I have similar complaints about The Dark Knight, but I'm not sure I want to open up that can of worms.

I liked it. Talia's death jitter was pretty terrible, but didn't have any major issues otherwise.

you be trollin brah?
I think it's an excellent example of a movie that gets worse upon repeated viewings. I'd go so far as to say that it actually hurts BB and TDK in retrospect.

Um, is this a joke or serious? I personally find another plot hole each and everytime I watch it but that's just me

Talia sucked. Totally miscast, but the movie was otherwise pretty powerful.
