and it's a week old. Comes off as more of a stream-of-consciousness blog of sorts. Which I think was the intention.

When I was going through Military Police school in Augusta GA a friend of mine couldn't hit the board side of a barn with a shotgun if he was just standing still. But if you let him move like in a short walk, or turn, he would shoot the eyes out of a mosquito. A dead shot on the move. No one knew why?

I have a good feeling about this 2014 Fighting tiger football team because these guys can move with the best of them. And this team seem to have good replacements who will help to keep everyone fresher during the game.

I have a feeling that I'm going to be very proud of our Mike the tiger football team’s colors this coming LSU football season in LSU Tiger Stadium. Instead of 90 000, cheering exited LSU tiger fans, we will be a hundred thousand inside and 20 000 more in the parking lot.

going a little up tempo

Running a goal line 2 min. drill is not exactly what I'd call uptempo offense... but on that note, I am curious to what extent the defense has maintained the uptempo pace/conditioning that they practiced in the spring and fall camps leading to the opener against Oregon in 2011. I know some of it was implemented specifically to prepare for the speed of Oregon, but it seemed to really pay dividends that season (though that defense was loaded with pro level talent so it is hard to objectively distinguish how much their success was due to pure talent and how much was due to the supposedly uptempo practices).
