The founder of Transformation Village, LLC, says his first priority is to open the shuttered theme park in New Orleans East, then build a water park and even a 450-foot-long Noah's Ark with a recording studio inside. Then, he'll turn his sights to the I-10 corridor. "We have seven miles to work with," said Scurlock.

Along the stretch between the old Six Flags site and the Twin Spans, Scurlock wants to put in a complex that includes a floating hotel, riverboat tours and a water recreation area with a beach near Irish Bayou.

I like this better than the TPC-NOLA plan.

Sounds like it could work. You have to make it worth going there for a couple days for it to work. Throw the hotel on it and make it a destination place and it could definitely work.
