I'm not a big fan of the layout that they offer when you pull it up through a smart tv or PS3. It seems like they only have a limited selection/categories that way.

Are there any good sites that update what's new?

I agree, I recently gained access to Netflix through AppleTV and it seems like there are about 10 categories with 75 movies/shows each.

I assumed their library was much larger than that. I find that it is hard to navigate their onscreen menu.

Instantwatcher

They actually just added a pretty solid number of titles. 5th Element, Close Encounters, all the Rockys, all of House

It is. If you search on a computer, they have much more available for on demand.

I don't know if 24 is gone now or just going, but I saw a press release today that said Amazon is getting exclusive rights to 24 ahead of the new season.

I have instantwatcher bookmarked and usually consult it before even getting on Netflix.
