You mean turned to possibly grab another weapon other than the one he was already armed with? Do you know quickly he could have closed the gap between himnself and that officer? I assure you it would have been before he could have been stopped. What was he wanted for? Perhaps he already stabbed or shot someone and the officers knew he had another weapon and was willing to use it. This is why videos never tell the entire story.

Perhaps he had just merdered someone and they knew he was armed. I honestly don't know why the flashbang was deployed but I won't speculate because I know what happens when one assumes.
