Ronnie Rantz - LSU baseball to finish 3rd or 4th in Sec

Ronnie Rantz just predicted LSU baseball to finish either 3rd or 4th, if finishing 4th behind MSU will miss out hosting a regional. Is also worried about Nola trying too hard to pitch a shut out with LSU unable to score runs.
I know its early, but it sure seems that the games against MSU this weekend have become critical for LSU hosting a reginal.

I know I know I'm not a true fan and/or my life must be miserable. BUT we just need to pray not to get swept again. Regional now for us realistic fans are out of the question especially hosting. At this point if things stay the same we need to start wondering if we'll have an .500 overall record.

If there are 4 SEC teams with 40+ wins and good resumes then they will host.
Especially if the state of NC keeps losing. Its not like there more teams than usual that are good west of Texas.

LSU might not this year, could tell Mainieri was concerned on his radio show about this weekends games against MSU. That was obvious.

I'd be surprised if 4 didnt host.
SEC had 10 ranked in the writers poll last week. A couple teams will emerge after USCe and Vandy.

Before the season started, probably 90% of the LSU fans would have been surprised if LSU couldn't hit, especially with Bregman and McMullen returning. This season so far has been a bit shocking.

Judging by most of these responses, Rantz's opinion stings y'all a bit. Face it, this team isn't as good as advertised and everyone blames the damn hitting coach when he's not at bat, it's the recruiting that has SUCKED!

Rantz's opinion doesnt sting, i dont think LSU will finish in the top 4. He is an idiot though.
