I fully expected for JOB to declare last week. I actually tweeted yesterday that the amount of time that has passed at least made me think JOB is considering returning. Probably waiting on a report from the NBA draft evaluation people.

I know people close to Mickey and the situation are telling him he should come back for at least one more year. He should obviously wait for his evaluation so he can see what NBA scouts are looking for him to improve.

Either way, it should be soon for both. I'm just surprised it hasn't already happened for JOB because I didn't think the evaluation would change his decision.

If they both come back, then we'd have 2 scholarship players too many for next season. Who do you think would get the ax/tranfer SOS?

I'm thinking Hammink and Odo. I know Morgan entertained the idea last season, but he's coming off injury so I'm not sure anyone would be willing to take him on.

I don't know everything going on in the locker room but Odo is one that I wouldn't expect to see gone. While it seems to make sense, he is a redshirt senior so he couldn't transfer. We would literally be telling him his career is over. I don't think that is good business.

I still don't think this scenario is likely so I don't wanna try and go out on a limb and say who leaves, but it will all work itself out.

I love JOB, but do feel like the offense would open up more if he leaves? maybe allow us to play a more up tempo style and spread the floor in the halfcourt and maybe eliminate the "dump the ball to the post and watch JOB work" philosophy? It got real frustrating watching us attempt to move the ball out of constant double teams. JOB always seemed to be slow to recognize the double thus allowing the defense to rotate before attempting to pass.

Again, love JOB and would not at all be disappointed if he stays.

They don't like the laziness nor the idea that we may end up like the movie' Idiocracy.' It shouldn't be frowned upon to fix bad grammar. It should be frowned on to be totally fine with it. When people don't use proper grammar, it's hard to understand what they're communicating.

100% same boat here. I love JOB and he is a great player, but it has taken LSU out of the offensive sets that Jones teaches.

As a coach you have to take your personnel into account which is why we have run the offense like we have. If we lose JOB, the offense will change drastically IMO.

Will be a ton of slashing guards. Moving bigs outside more to open the middle. Actually pretty similar to what SMU runs. They have alot of the same philosophies as Larry Brown.

I love JOB, but he frustrates me b/c he is a turnover waiting to happen. It just seems that he never progressed in this area of decision making

I thought his passing out of doubles teams improved drastically at times, but others he seemed lost. The biggest improvement to his game was the mid range jumper IMO. not sure how far that will carry him
