Just wondering how hard was the test... any tips for the exam... I'm taking a 2 week preparatory class before the exam... Also anyway to get the 1104 code book cheaper than $295?

Who are you taking the class through. John wormelli in Texas is by far the best. The test won't be an issue.

Solid group.
I was given the book for free by an inspector. I didn't even know they cost that much. I know roughly a dozen people that went through wormelli which is why I recommended him. I'm going to him in October or December, haven't decided yet.

Every inspector I know wants to hold to their book... I guess with good reason... good luck with the test

I know several people who have taken it. Many of thsm had to go back to re take certain parts. I'm kicking the idea around of going take it. I have 15 years fitting and 2 1/2 years in a welder test lab. I'd like to become a structural inspector.

D1.1.1 is a pretty good size code book... I know a few that failed the whole exam... I know who passed 2 parts of it... hopefully I can pass it...
